Key job responsibilities Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory Utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers to meet or exceed revenue targets Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business Challenge outdated approaches to IT Create and articulate compelling value propositions to customers Analyze sales metrics/data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement Build, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategy Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services Develop long-term strategic C-level relationships with key accounts Basic Qualifications 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience Preferred Qualifications Experience developing detailed go to market plans Experience in working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies Experience with cloud computing technologies Experience with government procurement and contracting process Acknowledgement Of Country In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
