Job Details $1300 per day Federal Government Department Canberra or Brisbane location Looking to join one of Australia’s most integral federal government departments? This department helps to make life of all Australians travel safer and is looking for a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst. Based in the Brisbane or Canberra office, you will be providing advice and guidance across the enterprise. Taking on a broad reaching role, you will be implementing security solutions as well as uplift BAU work. Responsibilities Development of technical documentation Investigation and reporting on cyber incidents Providing guidance and technical information (SME) Working with external partners on project delivery Supporting the business on cybersecurity / engineering Assisting senior stakeholders through to IT support This role is working with a federal government department so Australian citizenship is mandatory due to security requirements . Ideally you will have an NV1 clearance , if not, you must be able to qualify for one. Qualifications 5 + years in Security Assurance & Risk Analysis roles Large enterprise or government experience Background in both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments Design and development of cyber security controls NIST expertise and ideally certifications CISSP, CISA or CRISC certifications This is a 12 month contract role in a highly prestigious federal government department so NV1 is mandatory . Rates up to $1300 per day based on your skills and experience. This role can be based in either Canberra or Brisbane and has a 2 day work from home arrangement.
