Clinical Nurse Opportunity – Make a Difference in Specialist Care Permanent full-time role providing advanced clinical care and leadership across specialist drug and alcohol services, supporting clients with complex needs in a collaborative, recovery-focused environment. About The Role In this role, provide advanced care and specialist drug and alcohol services, lead clinical practice, support clients with complex needs, and contribute to harm‑minimisation, quality improvement, education, and research. Key Responsibilities Deliver advanced assessment, planning, and care for complex clients. Lead and support nursing staff to ensure safe, best‑practice care. Provide specialist programs including Opioid Treatment, NSP and Drug Diversion. Assist with education, supervision and development of nursing staff and students. Apply evidence‑based care and support audits and research. Use advanced critical thinking to manage complex situations. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and confidentiality. Working with us For 1 year will get you an isolation bonus of AUD$3,500. If you stay for 2 years you will get AUD$10,500… and for your 3rd year (and every year after that) you will get AUD$7,000. 12.75% employer superannuation contribution. Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual. Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available. In your downtime , we will provide 2 return airfares p.a. (inc. spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city in conjunction with your recreation leave; of which we offer 5 weeks p.a. with a 17.5% loading/bonus. Requirements Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. C Class Motor Vehicle Licence. Pre‑employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks. This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis. A period of probation may apply.
