The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Site Manager we are seeking a skilled Technical Supervisor to lead and oversee the service delivery and performance of our Heavy Vehicle Mechanic team. This role is based at a state‑of‑the‑art Australian Defence facility in Holsworthy where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and team success. Hours of work Monday to Thursday : 7am to 3 : 45pm Friday : 7am to 12pm Why join us Competitive salary package Work life balance - midday knock off on Fridays to kick start your weekend Work on our long‑standing Australian Defence contract Joining an easy going supportive and collaborative team Access to Ventias staff discount scheme travel private health insurance etc Could you be our next Technical Supervisor Must be an Australian Citizen and be able to obtain an Australian Defence Clearance Certified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Current Australian open driver licence for manual medium rigid and heavy rigid (MR / HR) classes of vehicles Demonstrated ability and practical experience in leadership of a maintenance team management of maintenance activities technical investigation quality audits and technical inspections Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills people management and client interface Sound understanding of work health and safety security and environmental obligations in an industrial / maintenance environment to ensure compliance to legislative requirements Use of computer IT applications such MILIS SAP and / or Microsoft Office Suite preferred About Ventia Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand.
