Join us and be a part of DSV’s global family. DSV Solutions is seeking to hire multiple skilled and passionate Warehouse Operators – pick packers and forklift operators in Melbourne. The Warehouse Operator plays an integral part in the logistics supply chain, ensuring customers’ goods are picked and packed as required and that all associated paperwork is completed as per procedures. Your typical day at DSV: Interpret information contained on the picking slip to locate stock and pick to fulfill customer orders. Unload/load vehicles and move goods in and out of the warehouse. Maintain 100% accuracy when picking stock, and perform stock takes and cycle counts. Assist with the loading/unloading of trucks on occasions as directed by the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor. Enter and update information in the computer system. Follow operational procedures at all times. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conduct daily safety checks. Report any spillages, damaged or suspicious goods. Report all incidents/accidents/near misses without delay. About you: Require a valid forklift license and previous experience operating forklifts (particularly High Reach and counterbalance). Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
