You’re a social-first Videographer in the Editorial team. You'll be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and on-brand content across various digital platforms (primarily social channels). You'll collaborate with our social media and business management teams to ensure that every piece of content reflects the essence of the brief from our client. You’ll have a keen eye for social-first video composition, lighting, editing, and the technical elements that go into producing visually compelling images and videos for social media. You will report to the Head of Content Strategy. A Day in the Life Create, capture, and edit high-quality content that aligns with client briefs. Conceptualise and produce visually engaging assets for a wide variety of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, websites, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with creative, production, and business management teams, translating ideas into content that resonates with the brand’s tone and mood. Deliver against fast paced retail content calendars, managing deadlines across multiple projects in rapid succession. Edit footage with precision, applying your eye for pacing, colour, and composition to create videos that elevate the brand. Stay on top of fashion, beauty and lifestyle trends, using these insights to inform fresh and relevant photographic styles. Step in to provide support on team projects as necessary, aligning with multi-disciplinary content needs. How will we know you are the one? You have 1-2+ years experience in videography/content creation in the retail, beauty, lifestyle, and fashion space (focusing on social), and your portfolio shows off your knack for producing polished, scroll-stopping content, both still and motion. You confidently transition between capturing content on an iPhone or professional camera with appropriate lighting, flexibly adjusting your setup as the shoot demands. Da Vinci, Photoshop, Lightrooom and all those post-production tools? You’re already on a first-name basis with them. You can balance creative flair with commercial goals, making sure a brand’s message pops in just the right way through your photography. Lighting, composition, styling? You know your stuff when it comes to making things look just right, no matter the platform. You don’t just meet client expectations, you exceed them. They trust you have the production process under control and are confident in the work you’re delivering. You’re a pro at juggling multiple projects, hitting deadlines, and communicating across teams to keep everything ticking nicely. You're comfortable directing talent when needed, giving clear guidance to get authentic performances. You know when to step in with suggestions and when to hang back and let the moment unfold naturally. Other things that will make you excel in this role Experience working on large-scale, high-profile campaigns, across the retail, fashion, beauty and lifestyle sector. You're digital ready - Instagram, TikTok, Reels? You've been there, done that, and have numerous followers enjoying your content. Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Film, Photography, Marketing or a relevant field. (preferred, but not required). A passion for creativity.
