Our Northern Region Construction Team are seeking a suitably qualified Senior Project Engineer (Structures) to support the Rockhampton Ring Road Project based in Rockhampton, Queensland. The project includes the construction of the section of the bypass between the Bruce Highway / Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road intersection and the Monier Road embankment, including the construction of 11 bridges. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of various components of works, and report directly to the Structures Manager. You will have full oversight for ensuring safety, cost, quality and time targets are met, whilst managing client and subcontractor communication and reporting to Senior Management on project performance. FIFO from Brisbane may be considered for this position. Your Contribution Deliver projects in accordance with contractual obligations and company policies/procedures. Develop and maintain business relationships with all stakeholders and lead & support a culture of Living Safely. Oversee HSEQ compliance and identify potential claims (variations/EOT) and prepare for submission to clients. Report incidents, non-conformance and near misses and participate in incident investigations when required. Cost control, monitoring productiveness and forecasting costs to complete. Resolution of technical bridge-related issues, including liaising with designers to rectify constructability concerns. You will hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and demonstrated intermediate experience in project delivery across mid to large scale civil projects with a focus on bridge construction. Your advanced communication skills, excellent organisational ability, and extensive experience in liaising with utility authorities in a project environment, will set you up for success.
