Your new role Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engagement Marketing, this position leads a team responsible for developing and delivering direct to member engagement marketing and communications. Working closely with leads across the broader department, this role is responsible for delivering initiatives in the accumulation product that achieve associated retention, positive action and engagement targets. Key duties include but are not limited to Lead by example to motivate and inspire colleagues to ensure they are empowered and accountable to deliver to their objectives and quality outcomes. Understand the member needs and consider the full user experience and champion best practice creative development and design. Foster the development of the team to drive initiative excellence through regular feedback, coaching, professional development, training and education. Deliver, monitor, report on and continually optimise the multi‑channel engagement marketing, guidance, education and communications initiatives for all accumulation members. Optimise activity through paid marketing channels where appropriate to improve retention and positive action and transaction rates. What you'll need Proven experience in marketing and/or communications roles, ideally in a superannuation or financial services environment. Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or similar. Extensive experience project managing and developing a wide variety of end‑to‑end communications, including the briefing, sign‑off management, design management, production and distribution of communications across multiple channels for different audiences. Retention campaign management experience across owned and paid channels. Outstanding communication, strategic thinking and analytical capabilities. Proven people leadership experience.
