Banks and Insurance Associate RM

Join Westpac Institutional Bank and help deliver tailored financial solutions for leading banks and insurance clients. Situated within the Corporate and Institutional Bank (CIB), you’ll work as part of the Banks and Insurance Coverage team to support origination and execution of bespoke financial strategies. This client-facing role offers exposure to high‑profile meetings and deal structuring. You’ll prepare briefing papers, strategy documents, client research, pricing submissions, approvals, and revenue reports, enabling senior stakeholders to represent the Bank effectively in all client engagements. You’ll also coordinate governance packs, assist with customer communications, and contribute to origination activities such as pricing approvals, account planning, and pitch packs. Additionally, you’ll help maintain data hygiene and reporting, driving continuous improvement in processes. This is a permanent full‑time role based in Sydney. Qualifications A passion for driving customer advocacy and delivering exceptional client outcomes. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. An affinity for numbers, curiosity, and the ability to connect insights to create meaningful solutions. Hands‑on exposure to commercial credit analysis, ideally within a lending environment.
