SAP Business Process Transformation (BPT) Consultant Milestone Information Technology – Melbourne VIC Milestone IT is seeking a strategic and highly experienced SAP Business Process Transformation (BPT) Consultant to join our client's groundbreaking SAP upgrade program. This role is not just about configuration; it is about fundamentally redesigning and optimizing core business operations, leveraging the power of the new SAP platform. If you are passionate about process excellence, value stream mapping, and driving organizational change, this is your chance to lead the transformation agenda. About the Role As the BPT Consultant, you will be the expert focused on aligning business strategy with process execution across the enterprise. You will work closely with executive sponsors and functional teams to define the optimal future‑state operating model. This involves intensive process analysis, value stream identification, and implementing governance to ensure process adherence throughout the SAP upgrade and beyond. Key Responsibilities Lead comprehensive "As‑Is" process analysis and design the strategic "To‑Be" business processes for the new SAP landscape. Facilitate high‑level workshops with business owners and executive leadership to align on process strategy and secure sign‑off on transformation goals. Perform detailed value stream mapping and identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and efficiency gains using SAP capabilities (e.g., S/4HANA features, SAP BTP extensions). Develop and manage the Process Governance Model to ensure consistency and compliance across all business units migrating to the new SAP solution. Partner with the Solution Architect and Functional Teams to ensure the technical design directly supports the defined To‑Be business processes. Drive the organizational change management effort by articulating the business benefits and impact of process changes. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Business Process Transformation/Optimization Consultant on major SAP implementation or upgrade programs. Expertise in process modeling methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Value Stream Mapping) and tools. Strong functional knowledge of end‑to‑end integrated SAP processes (e.g., Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, Record‑to‑Report). Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior business stakeholders to drive consensus on process standardization and change. Experience integrating business process design with organizational change management and training strategies. Familiarity with SAP's next‑generation platform capabilities, including SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . Why Lead This Transformation?
