As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the maintenance team to ensure the successful delivery of both preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, minimising downtime, and optimising equipment performance. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, coupled with strong leadership skills, will ensure the facility runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Key responsibilities Lead the health, safety, and environmental practices, ensuring all protocols are adhered to in maintenance activities. Oversee the creation and implementation of a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program. Manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and high-quality maintenance support, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve electrical and mechanical issues to ensure the plant's operational reliability. Monitor and maintain the plant's equipment, grounds, and systems in accordance with company standards. Collaborate with production teams to prioritise and complete high-impact tasks, ensuring minimal disruptions to operations. Manage relationships with contractors and vendors, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality repair services. Lead projects and plant overhauls, ensuring completion on time and within budget. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the maintenance team, supporting their development through ongoing training. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and environmental requirements, including EPA standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in Lean Manufacturing, improving equipment performance and operational efficiency. What we're looking for Qualified tradesperson (Electrician or Fitter) with a valid NSW license. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance leadership role. Expertise in developing and managing maintenance systems, particularly for printing and coating equipment. Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and SAP (preferred). Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Results-driven, with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills. Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to achieve business goals.
