The College is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Head of Faculty PDHPE. Teaching in our brand new state of the art Wingaru Building the Assistant Head of Faculty works closely with the Head of Faculty to ensure the ongoing development and supervision of the curriculum and the quality of teaching and learning that is provided to each student within the PDHPE Faculty. The College is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic experienced Assistant Head of Faculty PDHPE in a full-time (1.0FTE) ongoing position commencing 20 January 2026. The position of Assistant Head of Faculty carries a teaching load of 0.8 FTE with 0.2 FTE release time. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Be an outstanding classroom teacher who models best practice teaching and learning Have an understanding of the PDHPE curriculum across Stages 4-6 ABOUT YOU Demonstrate strategic leadership capabilities and have a well-developed understanding of contemporary educational issues and pedagogical approaches related to the faculty and broader school context Hold a postgraduate qualification in educational leadership or similar (desirable) Hold the appropriate teaching qualifications Be accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW Have the skills to deliver lessons that stimulate and engage students of all academic abilities Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents Have experience leading a team driving change.
