Your New Role and Responsibilities Join a dynamic team of skilled System Administrators supporting and maintaining a large‑scale enterprise environment across multiple locations in Australia and internationally. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to design, implement, test, and maintain Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and its associated infrastructure, driving reliability and performance across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, patch, and upgrade Microsoft SCOM infrastructure including servers, gateways, databases, and agents. Design and implement custom monitoring rules, dashboards, and reports; optimise alerts to reduce false positives. Investigate and resolve SCOM‑related issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical support to stakeholders. Enhance monitoring through PowerShell scripting and integrate SCOM with other System Center components or third‑party tools. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure configurations meet security and compliance standards. What You’ll Bring Proven ability to administer and support SCOM in medium to large‑scale environments. Proficiency in scripting for automation and custom monitoring solutions. Understanding of server, application, and infrastructure performance metrics. Experience managing SCOM management packs and developing custom monitoring solutions. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and communicate effectively.
