Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you may be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. What You’ll Be Doing Providing the architectural direction for health and security monitoring technologies across a large platform. Engaging closely with operational teams to understand their use cases and requirements for monitoring toolsets. Collaborating with technical architects and security leads to ensure compliance with design standards and security requirements. Documenting processes and procedures required for deployment, maintenance, and operational use of monitoring technologies. Championing the use of automation and orchestration capabilities to promote efficiency and improve working processes. Essential Skills IT Infrastructure Architecture/Design Systems Integration Troubleshooting Automation scripting Performance monitoring Mandatory Familiarity with Linux operating systems. Experience with one or more of the following areas: Administering or deploying monitoring and observability tools such as CheckMK, Prometheus or Zabbix. Administering or deploying SIEM tools such as Elastic Security, Splunk or Trellix ESM. Working with dashboarding and visualization tools such as Kibana or Grafana. Preferred Ansible automation experience. Knowledge of monitoring networking equipment using SNMP. Understanding of data pipeline tools like NiFi. Experience working in operational environments.
