We are a small friendly team looking for a Dental Assistant to join us at our family dental clinic in Nerang, Gold Coast. The role is a mixed role and consists of both dental assistance plus general reception duties. Both part-time and / or contract opportunities available with a permant role available in future. Training available for the right candidates. We are seeking a long term candidate who would fit into our friendly & caring culture. We value our relationships within the team and the level of care towards the patients we serve. We place a higher importance on a candidate’s attitude, work ethic, honesty, friendliness & compassion more than prior experience & education, and will support these candidates as required. We are able to support candidates who lack qualifications or experience, but are enthusiastic and eager to learn. Training and further options are available. This role requires : Great understanding & practice of sterilising guidelines & infection control protocols. Good computer skills, which includes using dental related software for clinic & data entry. (Core Practice Platform - Training available) Facilitate with upkeeping of Practice & Patient records. Able to work in a team and share clinical assisting duties as well as day to day reception skills. Be proficient and consistent with their clinical work with a good attention to detail. Role requires appropriate vaccination / serology. Our ideal candidate will : Have a great work ethic & a positive attitude. Is attentive. Is friendly, caring and supportive of other staff and patients. Has great communication skills, interpersonal & over the phone. Will build good working relationships with Dentist’s, staff & patients, and take direction as required. Will be focus on patient care and on improving patient experience. Is reliable.
