Senior Business Analyst - Payroll Transformation Program ASX-Listed Organisation | Long-Term Program | Immediate Start We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a large-scale Payroll Transformation program for a leading ASX-listed company. This is a long-term initiative, and you'll play a key role in helping the business move from a complex legacy payroll environment into a modern, enterprise-grade solution. Prior payroll domain experience is essential — what's critical is your ability to navigate and deliver in large, structured waterfall programs , lead requirements gathering, and mentor junior BAs to ensure high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document current processes ("as-is") and define future processes ("to-be") across payroll, HR, and finance. Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and work with the technology team to ensure delivery. Lead and mentor junior BAs, providing guidance on requirements documentation, stakeholder engagement, and delivery best practices. Support all phases of the waterfall lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing, transition, and handover. Facilitate workshops, review sessions, and maintain clear documentation for project governance. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on large-scale, waterfall-style programs . Domain knowledge within Payroll programs is mandatory i.e. Payroll and Award interpretation experience. Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior BAs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
