Base Pay Range A$65,000.00/yr – A$70,000.00/yr Overview This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to get exposure to an ASX listed company with global operations. You will be joining the finance team in our global head office in Melbourne. The Assistant Accountant will support the Senior Financial Accountants with all the accounting, taxation and reporting requirements for the Australian and overseas companies in the group. Key Responsibilities Full-function Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including multi-entity invoice processing, vendor onboarding and engagement, reconciliations, and reporting across international jurisdictions and time zones Group-wide timesheet management including compliance monitoring and engagement with consultants and internal stakeholders Credit card reconciliations, journals and reporting across multiple currencies Supporting month end processes and reporting, including journals, cost adjustments, prepayments, payroll checks, and cash reporting Supporting the sales and delivery teams by providing accurate and timely project reporting Assisting with half year and full year external audits and financial reporting requirements Providing general support and completing ad hoc projects across the team, and providing back-up, as required What We’re Looking For Experience as an accountant / graduate accountant within industry or public practice A bachelor’s degree in accounting, or relevant tertiary qualification Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Collaborative and flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office 365 skills Experience with ERP / accounting software programs Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure, multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines Self-motivated and passionate about making a tangible difference in a global organisation Availability to work from our Docklands head office minimum 4 days per week, with flexibility to accommodate global time zones as needed About CPT CPT Global is an independent technology services provider and technology consultancy with expertise across the IT stack (systems, applications, databases, security, transactions, networks) and is best known for its world‑class mainframe expertise.
