About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business partner who brings excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills to join the Coles Finance team, focused on our Meat Retail remit.This role will see you working side by side with the Merchandise team to deliver sales, margin and cost targets, leveraging your financial expertise and strong communication skills to enable informed decision making and drive digital business strategy.You will also;Identify opportunities to drive sales over and above plansEnsure plans are in place to deliver the strategic objectives of the business unitLiaise with Meat Production team to provide insight and understanding of impacts to P&L from livestock and production costsDrive insight and ROI analysis for transformational projects and business casesIdentify and define process and/or system improvements to enhance ability to deliver on objectivesTrack key initiatives and promotions to ensure they are on target to delivered expected outcomeDrive the monthly forecast process ensuring all risk and opportunities are understood and communicated
About you and your skillsWe are looking for a driven Finance Business Partner who is comfortable challenging and influencing key stakeholders, competent in data-driven storytelling, and capable navigating complex problems and ambiguity.You will also ideally have;CA/CPA or similar business qualification, or near with commercial awareness and business focusFinancial experience in a retail/FMCG or big 4 environment desirable, but not essentialTM1 and PowerBI experience desirableStrong Excel, financial modelling, and PowerPoint skillsProven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend course of action
