We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, safety, and community impact. We’re seeking a skilled Final Trim Grader Operator to join our dynamic team for local Darwin projects. The Role As a Final Trim Grader Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring precision and quality in our civil construction projects. You will operate graders to achieve accurate final trim finishes on roads, pavements, and other infrastructure, working closely with our site teams to meet project specifications and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Operate graders (CAT 140/150) via Trimble GPS & UTS to perform final trim work to precise tolerances. Read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications. Conduct machine pre-starts, maintenance checks, and report any issues. Collaborate with site supervisors, surveyors, and other operators to achieve project goals. Adhere to strict safety standards and comply with all site policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience as a Final Trim Grader Operator in civil construction. Grader ticket or equivalent certification (RII competency). Proven ability to achieve precise final trim results (±10mm accuracy). Experience with GPS machine control systems (e.g., Trimble, Topcon) highly desirable. Strong understanding of civil construction processes and materials. Safety-focused with a commitment to quality and teamwork. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Darwin for local work (no FIFO arrangements). What We Offer Competitive hourly rate with allowances.
