Synchro Partners is partnering with a well‑known organisation who are currently undergoing a major Scheduling, Time & Attendance system implementation. This is a critical Test Lead role , sitting at the centre of a business‑wide transformation. The role revolves around leading all testing phases across scheduling, rostering, time capture and attendance to ensure a smooth, accurate and high‑quality rollout. Key Responsibilities Lead the full testing lifecycle for Scheduling, Time & Attendance. Shape the test strategy, test plan and overall testing approach. Oversee functional, integration, regression and UAT testing phases. Coordinate UAT with business users and assist with parallel pay run testing. Manage defect logging, prioritisation and triage through JIRA. Provide clear daily and weekly testing progress updates. Produce test summary reports and advise on go/no‑go decisions. Capture lessons learned and maintain all test documentation. Support post‑go‑live checks and early production validation. Work closely with the Lead and Project Manager to keep communication flowing. Proactively identify risks and promote strong testing practices across the team. Key Requirements Demonstrated experience as a Test Lead within workforce management, payroll, or scheduling/time & attendance environments. Solid grounding in functional, integration, regression and UAT testing. Experience in using test management tools such as JIRA. Strong understanding of scheduling, rostering , time capture and attendance requirements . Experience with HR, payroll or API integrations is a strong advantage. Skilled in creating structured test plans and detailed test cases. Highly capable in defect management and triage. Comfortable overseeing multiple testing cycles at once, including parallel runs. Able to explain technical testing issues in clear, simple terms for business stakeholders.
