We also pride ourselves on our commitment to our employees who we aim to support in every aspect of their roles. About the position We are seeking one (1) Non-Executive Director. The position requires attendance at and contribution to OneCare Board Meetings as well as appointment to a Board Committee/s as determined by the Board Chair. The Non-Executive Director will work with fellow Directors and the CEO to bring an impartial and objective perspective to the governance structure of the organisation. If you are looking for an opportunity to work within the Aged Care sector and preferably can attend face‑to‑face monthly meetings at various locations within Tasmania, we are keen to hear from you. Responsibilities Contributing to board governance and strategic oversight. Attending board meetings and board committee meetings. What you bring to the role The successful applicant will be expected to have: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline. An Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) qualification (or equivalent) and/or experience working within a Governing Body. A current NDIS Endorsed Working with Vulnerable People Check. A National Police Check. Director Identification Number. The successful applicant will possess skills and/or knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Contemporary aged care industry experience. Relevant financial/accounting knowledge and expertise. Experience in project management of large capital works programs or IT projects. Contemporary relevant strategy and leadership expertise in regulated organisations. Being an effective and respectful team member who demonstrates empathy but has the capacity to question and challenge with sound communication skills.
