Business facing role with successful global renewable energy business Senior commercial role for a legally qualified professional 5+ years’ relevant experience in construction or commercial contract management About our client Our client is a leading renewable energy business with a large portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage assets. Our client also supplies a range of on-site renewable energy solutions to assist corporate customers to lower their electricity bills and emissions. About the role The Senior Commercial Contracts Specialist is a key business partner and will be responsible for all commercial contract management support nationally. Reporting to the General Manager, the role is focused on supporting the business with the negotiation of complex contracts related to bespoke commercial renewable energy solutions including EV charging, solar and battery storage systems. About you You will be legally qualified and shall have a minimum of 5 years or more relevant experience, including in pre-contract negotiation of commercial terms and conditions, providing post contract management support and the negotiation of claims and disputes. You will bring strong commercial awareness and contract law skills, including commercial contract drafting experience. Your strong understanding of contracts as they relate to infrastructure projects and of construction management, as well as engineering and manufacturing processes, sales, and systems knowledge will be valuable in this role. You will have a commercial, practical approach and be adept at working with business stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes whilst assessing and managing commercial risk.
