You will be part of Arup’s Research Programme Leadership Team, responsible for increasing the value and impact of our global research investments. You will develop and implement a global research impact strategy aligned with Arup’s purpose and priorities, design and embed frameworks for assessing, monitoring, and reporting on research impact, guide colleagues in evaluating and communicating impact, and facilitate high‑quality impact case studies for internal and external audiences. The position can be based in Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Responsibilities Develop and implement a research value and impact strategy aligned with Arup’s purpose and strategic priorities. Capture, assess, and evaluate the collective value and impact of Arup’s research portfolio, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Design and embed effective monitoring and evaluation methods across the research portfolio. Lead the creation and dissemination of research value and impact case studies and other communications for internal and external audiences. Guide and support researchers to maximise the value and societal impact of their work, from project design to delivery. Collaborate to produce shared resources, training and communications in partnership with learning, marketing and communication teams. Skills And Experience Experience leading the development and delivery of research impact strategies and frameworks in large complex organisations. Extensive experience facilitating and driving research impact with a strong understanding of impact pathways, including commercialisation. Demonstrated ability to provide advice, training and practical support to researchers to increase value and impact. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to communicate research impact in a range of formats. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience); postgraduate qualification desirable. What We Offer You Arup cares about each member’s success.
