St Mary's Anglican Church and Cliff's Kitchen – Busselton WA Cooking & Kitchen Skills Ability to cook simple, nutritious meals in bulk Familiarity with safe food handling and hygiene Knowledge of food storage and avoiding cross-contamination Comfortable using standard kitchen equipment (ovens, stovetops, mixers, knives) Planning & Organisation Can plan a simple weekly menu based on available produce Able to estimate quantities for 120–150 meals and adjust recipes accordingly Keep track of supplies and manage a basic shopping list Reliable in shopping for ingredients (on a needs basis) Resourcefulness Knows how to work within a budget Can adapt plans based on donated food or what's available at the shops Team and People Skills Friendly, respectful, and works well with others (volunteers, church team, guests) Communicates clearly and asks for help or guidance when needed Flexible and calm under pressure, especially during busy times in the kitchen Category : Community Services Commitment : Regular – more than 6 months Type Of Work : Food Preparation & Service Time Required : Tuesday mornings and Wednesday mornings.
