Lead Strategic Bids Across Australia & New Zealand Base pay range: A$110,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr Overview This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced professional to lead strategic work‑winning efforts across Australia and New Zealand. As a Senior Bids Specialist, you’ll help drive business growth through impactful proposals and client engagement. You’ll work within a collaborative Marketing and Business Development team, contributing to high‑quality submissions that support broader business goals. Roles and Responsibilities Guide win strategies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client‑facing activities. Support business development decisions through analysis of bid performance metrics and outcomes. Drive continuous improvement in bidding processes and success rates. Coordinate and oversee tender processes of varying scale and complexity, including scheduling, compliance, and document production. Take full accountability for bid coordination, ensuring submissions are sophisticated, consistent, and tailored to client needs. Lead and manage bids across designated regions, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of information and meet both internal and external deadlines. Skills and Experience Proven ability to support and guide proposal teams with a strategic mindset. Demonstrated experience in bidding, pursuit strategy, business development, and client engagement planning. Skilled in navigating matrix organisations and building influential relationships to win work. Strong content development and professional writing skills, with the ability to tailor persuasive communications to diverse audiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is advantageous.
