The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Intensive Care Unit on a part-time basis. In this rewarding role you will play a vital part in ensuring patient comfort, dignity and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Health Services who is passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Your Key Responsibilities Assist with patient manual handling using appropriate equipment and aides. Provide support to clinical staff and assist patients on admission to settle in comfortably. Assist with emergency responses as required. Clean and maintain equipment and patient areas in line with infection control standards. Carry out additional duties as directed by the Unit Manager or hospital coordinators. About You You thrive in a busy hospital setting adapt quickly to changing demands and consistently uphold high standards of service and professionalism. You will bring : Certificate III in Aged Care Health Services or Care Support (desirable). Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Knowledge of infection control manual handling and safety procedures. Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication interpersonal and time management skills. Highly regarded qualifications / experience : Currently studying Nursing (Year 2 or 3). Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance.
