Overview Solicitor or Senior Associate to join the Project Finance team in Melbourne at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. The Project Finance practice focuses on developing innovative project financing structures and working on high-profile energy and infrastructure deals in Australia and New Zealand, acting for both borrowers and banks. Responsibilities Work closely with leading Partners on significant project, asset acquisition, renewable energy, and infrastructure financing transactions. Provide high-end advisory and transactional support across project finance matters. Develop client relationships and contribute to a market-leading practice within a collaborative team. Qualifications and Experience Unrestricted Australian or New Zealand practicing certificate. 3+ years of legal experience. Experience in project finance from a leading top-tier, national or international private practice, or extensive general or structured finance experience from a leading private practice. Excellent academic record with strong legal skills and a practical mindset. Proactive, collaborative, and able to work to tight timeframes, both in a team and autonomously. Excellent communication skills and collegiality. Desire to learn, develop, and contribute to maintaining a market-leading practice.
