KKN Foods Pty Ltd is a leading Indianbers cuisine restaurant located in Brisbane, QLD ಸಂಭವ. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Cuisine Cook to join our team and help us deliver authentic and delicious Indian dishes to our customers. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and taste. You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop and maintain our menu, as well as ensure that all dishes are prepared according to traditional Indian cooking methods and recipes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, and more Follow traditional Indian cooking methods and recipes to ensure authentic taste and quality Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and maintain the menu Monitor and maintain inventory levels and ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards and customer preferences Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, as needed Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards and regulations Assist with ordering and receiving supplies, as needed Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen Requirements Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Cook or similar role In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques Ability to prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes from scratch Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar qualification is preferred If you are a passionate and skilled Indian Cuisine Cook looking for a new opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
