Cook -Indian Cuisine (4) We need Cooks for our restaurant; we are a well-established Indian brand with a global presence.Renowned for offering great Indian food, service and ambience. The position of Cook will be under the direction of the Head Chef, with duties including: Cut, prepare and cook vegetables for different menu items Unique methods of mixing ingredients for the each type /particular style of dishes Prepare Dosa Batter, Sambar and chutneys on a daily basis and check quality of all base sauce Cooking and preparation of the various stuffing for particular styled breads along with blend of spices Portion food and plate Garnish and add sauces to food Regulating temperatures of ovens, tandoors, and other cooking equipment Seasoning food during cooking Determine appropriate ingredients and purchasing specifications, test recipes, specify individual serving portion for each recipe Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements of patrons like lactose free, Vegan and Celiac free food Store raw and cooked food in appropriate containers and in specified temperature in controlled facilities Preparing sauces, dips, and accompaniments Training and supervise junior kitchen staff Maintain high standard of personal presentation, hygiene and cleanliness in kitchen areas Full time and Permanent: Expected to work on roaster and during weekends Experience : Minimum 2 years in Cooking Indian Cuisine Join the Team: As part of the kitchen team, you will receive initial and ongoing training and development.
