HSE Advisor – Amida Recruitment Ltd About the role Amida Recruitment Ltd is a well-established national contracting and construction services company. The role involves overseeing multiple concurrent projects and reporting to the HSEQ State Lead. Responsibilities Assist project teams in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ documentation. Coach, advise and educate site personnel on legislative requirements and changes to comply with company procedures. Administer incident and hazard reporting processes and actions as per company procedures. Assist management to encourage a healthy, safe and environmentally responsible working culture among personnel. Conduct HSEQ site inspections and audits. Coach site teams on effective delivery of pre-start meetings and Toolbox meetings. Coordinate HSEQ training programs including the maintenance of competency standards. Actively analyse HSEQ performance, reporting, and system updates. Maintain the company Integrated Management System to an accredited level. Compile project specific HSEQ documentation to support tender bids as needed. Qualifications and Requirements Ideally a Cert IV in Health & Safety or a Diploma. 3 to 5 years’ experience in construction health & safety. Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment. Well‑developed interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in the creation and reviewing of Management Plans, SWMS, JHA’s and conducting audits. Understanding of Quality Management processes.
