Summary About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Chef de Partie - Breakfast Chef to join our team at Hyatt Place Caribbean Park Melbourne. As a Chef de Partie - Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious breakfast dishes for our guests in a casual and friendly work environment. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. What you'll be doing Preparing a wide variety of breakfast dishes, including hot items, continental items, and made-to-order options Ensuring all food items are prepared to the highest quality standards Maintaining a clean and organised workspace throughout service Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation Providing excellent customer service to our guests Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to deliver an exceptional dining experience What we're looking for Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or Line Cook, preferably in a hotel setting Strong cooking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays What we offer At Hyatt Place Caribbean Park Melbourne, we prioritise the wellbeing of our employees. Qualifications Previousexperienceas a Chef de Partie in a large hotel or restaurant. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) Hands on leadership skills that fosters a positive Hyatt culture resulting in a team that is inspired to achieve results Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Proven knowledge and experience in all operational and functional aspects of kitchen administration Ability to manage labor and food costs within a budget Strong focus on OH&S and Food Safety Systems i.e. HACCP #J-18808-Ljbffr
