About the role: SafeWork NSW is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to manage and oversee our Triage and Advisory Services team. This new role is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by driving high quality regulatory responses and supporting initiatives that address work health and safety risks including psychological risk and harm in workplaces across NSW. The Manager Triage and Advisory Services is responsible for the following: Manageand overseetriage advisors and team leaders todeliver consistent,highqualitytriage, assessmentandverification activitiesaligned to theapplication of SafeWork NSW’s triage framework. Leadand drivethe expansion of and delivery offrontlinesupportand advicefor matters related to psychological risk and harm. Ensurecompliance with legislation, policies, and procedures, and ensuretimelyand fair resolution of regulatory matters. Manage the delivery ofhigh leveladministrativeand governancesupport forkey operational functionsof SafeWork NSWensuring alignment with strategic priorities and contributing to enhanced regulatory intelligence and operational effectiveness Build a high performing team culture through coaching, mentoring, and capability development. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen integrated regulatory responses. Monitor triage volumes, trends, and emerging issues to support regulatory intelligence and informed decision-making. Exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships. Ability to leverage technology and data systems to improve workflow efficiency and regulatory performance. Resilience and adaptability in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
