Emergency Capability Lead This role is for nbn® Australia reporting to the Executive Manager, nbn Emergency Management. A bit about your role The Emergency Capability Lead will develop and deliver network emergency management capability across systems, people, and processes at nbn. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering the Emergency Management Training, Exercise, and Lessons Management Program, supporting internal and external engagement, and driving continuous improvement. The role also involves active participation in preparation, response, and recovery during emergency events, requiring on‑call availability and potential after‑hours work. Responsibilities Deliver capability framework, training, and exercises. Manage lessons learned and debriefs. Coordinate real‑time emergency response. Drive continuous improvement of emergency processes. Support internal and external stakeholder engagement. A bit about you The ideal candidate has strong expertise in emergency management, including experience in incident management teams and multi‑agency response planning. Qualifications & Competencies Experience in incident management and multi‑agency response planning. Skilled in debriefing, evaluating events, and implementing lessons. Designing, managing, and evaluating emergency management exercises. Training design and delivery. Process improvement.
