About the role We require a Guitar Tutor to deliver weekly lessons from Term 1, 2026. The tutor will timetable students on a rotating basis and provide a minimum of 32 lessons across the year (28 for Year 11 and 24 for Year 12), with support from the Music Department. Tutors are responsible for billing families, while the School manages enrolments and withdrawals. We are seeking an enthusiastic tutor with a genuine passion for teaching young people and a broad approach to music across all styles. Strong musicianship and technique are essential, and lesson and rehearsal days are negotiable. The position involves teaching approximately two full days per week and directing two Guitar Ensembles. The successful applicant must have experience working with school-aged students and the ability to motivate and inspire learners across these year levels. Applicants should address the following criteria: A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team. Experience in establishing positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues. Ability to positively support the School’s Christian ethos and values.
