Specialised Pavement Services – Hornsby NSW Specialised Pavement Services is the largest provider of Road Sweeping / Suction Broom Equipment and Services in Australia. Position: Sweeper Operator (MR/HR truck licence) One position is based at our depot at Hornsby NSW. Responsibilities Drive/operate a sweeper truck maintaining specified road networks, commercial & infrastructure projects for Local and State Governments and private sector. Perform routine and daily checks of vehicle in compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Laws and company regulations. Operate HINO trucks and MacDonald Johnson range of road sweepers, left hand drive vehicles. Manual labour including operating leaf blower, rake, shovel, etc.; alight from vehicle many times a day. Ensure the highest level of safety and quality during operations. Qualifications & Requirements MR/HR truck licence. Clean bill of health and good fitness level; medical check required. White/Blue card for construction (Work Cover) required. Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and plant concepts advantageous. Past experience with similar plant & equipment preferred; training provided for suitable candidates. Self‑motivated, reliable, flexible about working hours; able to start early in the morning.
