About the job We are looking for an experienced clinician with high-level skills in assessment, treatment planning, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. As a successful candidate, you will have / be developing a broad range of clinical skills and the ability to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks. The position is a 7-day rotating shift roster working between the hours of . Where you’ll be working The Tablelands Acute Care Team is co-located with the Armidale CMHT and general health services at Armidale CHC, less than 1 km from the CBD. As part of the Tablelands Acute Care Team, you will be responsible for the provision of initial assessment and intensive follow-up interventions working from a trauma-informed and recovery-focused framework. This will include engagement and communication with key stakeholders, GP, family, NDIS, and other private practitioners / services. Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Counsellor (Degree in Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health, or Djirruwang Program) Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme This vacancy is eligible for an Attraction and Relocation package that includes the following Attraction incentive paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance of up to $5,000 for the first 12 months Retention incentive of up to $5,000 thereafter annually PLUS 3 months accommodation assistance (rent payments, mortgage re-payments, payments for commercial accommodation) All payments and reimbursements made to part-time employees will be on a pro-rata basis. Benefits There will be a period of orientation based on the applicant’s needs, access to professional development and training as identified. The applicant will be supported by the Service Manager and senior clinicians of the Mental Health Service. The Fine Print Attraction incentives will be paid as a RuralandRegional fortnightly allowance on top of your basesalary. An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part-time and temporary full or part-time vacancies. All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine that has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.
