Immediate start for a new team member with a sound knowledge of boilermaking/welding; is organised; able to manage priorities within a jobbing fabrication workshop; and experience in leading and managing teams. Long established WA Fabrication business operating in Bellevue WA (near Midland) specialising in the provision of fabrication and maintenance of SMP components for the Mining and Alumina Sector. The Role As one of two workshop supervisors, you will be responsible for managing a division of our workshop operations in a fast-paced jobbing environment ensuring efficient allocation of resources, team productivity and maintaining a strong safety culture. Key Responsibilities Oversee and co-ordinate daily workshop operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, quality control and timely job completion for a team of up to 20. Foster a positive team culture with in a multi-cultural team, promoting teamwork and accountability. Provide leadership, guidance and support to workshop staff, ensuring high-performance standards. Work in collaboration with the other workshop supervisor to meet weekly production targets. Provide cover for other workshop supervisor during absences. Lead and promote a strong WHS culture, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and risk management strategies. Ensure compliance with Australian WHS regulations and our safety policies. Key Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a workshop supervisory or leadership role. Minimum 5 years of trade level experience within the metal fabrication manufacturing sector. Good understanding of workshop operations, metal fabrication processes and quality standards. Proven experience in team management, resource allocation and workflow coordination. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a hands‑on approach. Strong communication and organisational skills. Trade qualification in a relevant field – Boilermaker, Fabricator an advantage. Forklift Licence an advantage. Experience with overhead cranes an advantage. Knowledge of WHS regulations and a commitment to workplace safety. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and experience with production ERP/MIS systems. Training provided in ERP/MIS for right candidate.
