Business Support Manager

TP Human Capital is actively recruiting for a highly experienced, emotionally intelligent leader to oversee and streamline administrative and operational functions across clinical and non‑clinical areas of the business. This is not a standard operations role. We are looking for a true “People Person” who understands that in a clinical environment, the staff are as important as the patients. You will partner with the Clinical Director to lead the organization, reporting directly to the Board. Key Responsibilities Culture & People Leadership: Champion a supportive workplace culture. You will provide “open door” guidance to staff, navigating sensitive personnel issues, mediating interpersonal dynamics, and coaching staff through the emotional highs and lows of the veterinary industry. HR & Staff Development: Manage recruitment, onboarding, and WHS. Crucially, you will drive retention strategies, employee wellbeing initiatives, and continuous improvement initiatives and ensure continuing development, coaching and mentoring of staff. Operational Management: Lead the day‑to‑day operations of finance, administration, IT, and facility management, ensuring the clinical team has the resources they need to succeed. Business Management: Lead overall financial performance while overseeing service delivery outcomes, workforce capability, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen organisational accountability. Strategic Partnership: Work side‑by‑side with the Clinical Director to implement business strategies and coordinate quarterly reports for the Board of Directors. Client Experience: Ensure the reception and front‑of‑house team delivers compassionate, high‑quality service to clients who are often in stressful situations.
