Responsibilities Preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial result reporting. Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, promptly ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial data. Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). Assisting senior members of the APG Finance team with the annual budgeting process, supporting strategic growth and profitability targets. Conducting regular bank reconciliations and promptly investigating variances. Supporting reporting obligations to GPC and ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations (BAS, GST, FBT, etc.). Analysing financial performance and providing insights to improve cost control and operational efficiency. Assisting and preparing documentation for internal and external audits. Participating in special projects, including but not limited to system upgrades, financial modelling, and process improvement initiatives. About You Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline & CA / CPA / CIMA qualified. 5+ years’ experience as an accountant or a similar role. Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax obligations. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking and time management. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
