The Role: We are currently recruiting for a full-time Barber to join our team. To be suitable for the role, you must hold a relevant Trade qualification and have at least 2‑3 years of relevant experience. Main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: Cutting and trimming hair according to clients' instructions Styling hair using chemical solutions and styling tool Shaving, trimming and shaping clients’ beards and mustaches Washing and conditioning clients’ hair Providing hair treatments and colouring Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitised after each use Supervising apprentices and trainees Providing face and scalp massages Providing hairstyle suggestions to clients Leading by example by providing top quality haircuts and services Build on relationships with clients and industry suppliers to elevate the shop to the highest level Create a positive shop environment by driving and motivating our team culture The ideal candidate will have: A passion for the art of barbering A strong ability to lead and motivate others A positive attitude towards work and others Great communication skills and a proven ability to resolve customer and staff issues Familiarity with Phorest Salon Software, or similar Have the confidence and skills to step up into a management role What's in it for you?
