About the role Due to multiple project awards, we are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Senior Safety Advisors interested in joining DT Infrastructure to support our existing and upcoming projects in the North West of WA. This role is a full time position based in Port Hedland WA, where you will be working on a 8 : 6 (8 days on / 6 days off) FIFO Roster. These positions will work collaboratively with the project delivery teams to ensure compliance to DTI policies / procedures and statutory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Support operations to execute DTI and client HSE initiatives. Effective implementation of DTI HSE policy, procedures & standards through training, coaching and regular communication. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and assist with solution development and implementation. Coach and support local managers to develop and review HSE management plans and risk registers, consistent with site / project needs. Coach operational teams with sub-contractor management requirements including review of SWMS, ATWPs, completion of DTI and site inductions, participation in pre-starts, conduct of daily plant check sheets and compliance with HSEMPs. Collaborate with management and staff to promote a positive health and safety culture. Complete monthly and weekly reports. About You Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field Between 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Health & Safety Advisor in the Rail industry. Proven experience in a similar role within the Tier 1 construction and rail maintenance industry, preferably with experience dealing with WA resource clients. Able to evaluate information quickly, identifying key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgement, experience and common sense. Ability to work under broad direction, exercise initiative and be innovative in the approach to problem solving.
