About the role We're seeking Australian-based Instructional Designers to join our team on a fully remote, 6 month fixed-term contract. You'll be part of a small pod of instructional designers working under the guidance of a Senior Instructional Designer/Learning Lead. You'll translate subject matter expertise into clear, engaging and meaningful learning experiences using sound instructional design, adult learning theory and excellent writing and editing skills. You'll contribute to a variety of critical learning projects and engage with clients from a broad range of sectors: from high-end consulting firms and banks, to community, not-for-profit organisations and a range of government departments. With the support of our diverse team of specialists, the possibilities are endless to design and build some of the most impressive learning you've ever seen. Key responsibilities Consult with internal and external stakeholders to assess training needs Design compelling blended learning experiences, including eLearning storyboards, video and animation scripts, facilitator guides (virtual and face-to-face), podcasts, infographics, assessments and job aids Use templates, apply style guides and incorporate AI tools to support design efficiency Contribute to a collaborative, feedback-driven design environment with a strong focus on quality and learner experience About you Can you turn complex information into clear, engaging content tailored to diverse audiences and contexts? Do you design learner-centric experiences that are interactive, inclusive and grounded in adult learning principles? Do you have a keen eye for detail? Can you stop grammar and consistency errors from a mile away? Do you collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members to raise risks, solve the right problems and stay aligned with project scope? Can you work under pressure, maintain focus and meet tight deadlines?
