SRG Global has immediate Casual career opportunities for suitably experienced NDT technicians to work on site in the Southwest region of Collie. This role will offer the right candidate: Opportunity to lead a passionate & highly skilled team Competitive Enterprise Agreement rates on offer Experience working on one of Australia’s largest alumina refineries Flexible work week (up to 10 hours per day) with paid overtime available Opportunities to develop within a successful business The role involves working alongside other SRG operational teams onsite, as well as liaising with supervision, both internally and client based. Key Responsibilities Work safety and efficiency as part of a team. Seek and drive continuous improvement. Carry out NDT and Inspection activities as per standard, company procedures, and written instructions, analysing results against the required acceptance criteria. Liaise with clients and provide clear and concise results and information as required. Prepare and compile worksheets and reports. Provide assistance (non-NDT) to engineering and metallurgy staff where required. Carry out regular, cleaning, maintenance, and calibration on all SRG equipment. About you Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant industry experience with experience in Alumina refineries advantageous. ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT, PT, UT, RT, ET or a combination of Well developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to use programs to compile reports. Ability to read and understand standards, procedures and drawings relating to inspection tasks, Ability to work and contribute as part of a team.
