About the role We have an exciting full-time opportunity in our defendant Medical Negligence team for a lawyer with 1‑5 years’ PAE. The successful candidate will work with two highly regarded Partners who are recognised for their expertise by Doyle’s Guide, Best Lawyers and the Legal 500. Representing a variety of doctors and health institutions, the work covers a wide range of medical defence work including civil liability, intentional torts, disciplinary, coronial and hospital inquiries. About you To be successful in this role, you will be an admitted Lawyer with 1‑5 years’ PAE, ideally with experience in defendant medical negligence or civil litigation. To compliment your strong legal skills, you will be someone who works well both in a team and autonomously. In addition to outstanding written and verbal communication, you will be someone who enjoys problem solving, and demonstrates sound judgement and strong file management and organisational skills.
