About the Role We are seeking an organised and proactive Purchasing and Receivals Officer to manage the end-to-end flow of inbound materials — from purchase orders through to receival, Goods Receipts Notice (GRN) and supplier scorecards. This role ensures we receive the right materials, at the right time, to the right quality so production never stops. The position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in accuracy, traceability, and strong supplier relationships. Your work will directly support production continuity, supplier performance, and the integrity of our ERP and cold-chain systems. Key Responsibilities Raise and manage Purchase Orders aligned with production plans and forecasts. Validate inbound deliveries against PO, packing list, and specifications. Complete GRNs promptly and maintain accurate ERP traceability. Maintain supplier compliance documentation and support supplier performance reviews. Ensure correct cold-chain storage, allocation, and recording of perishable goods. Escalate issues quickly and support quality and operational investigations. Maintain data integrity across the PO → GRN → Invoice process. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes. About You You will be successful in this role if you: Have a minimum of 5 years experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Inventory Management. Have experience in fresh produce (advantageous but not essential). Are highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Have experience using ERP systems (EXO/EVEXSO highly regarded). Understand HACCP, traceability, food safety, or cold-chain logistics. Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams. Stay calm under pressure, are proactive, and solve problems quickly. Take pride in accuracy and doing things right the first time. Hold relevant qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain or Inventory Management, or are working towards them (preferred but not mandatory). Why Join AustChilli?
