You’ll bring clinical expertise, innovation and collaboration to our High-Performance program, ensuring athletes stay healthy, strong and ready to perform at their best on the world stage. The Role (What You’ll Be Doing): AsLead Physiotherapist, you’ll manage and deliver world-class physiotherapy services across our High-Performance programs. This role focuses on injury prevention, management and performance optimisation for national squad members and athlete scholars. You’ll lead the coordination of physiotherapy services, provide hands-on support at camps and competitions, and work closely with athletes, coaches and performance staff to maximise athlete health, availability and performance outcomes. What You’ll Bring to the Role Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy qualification Titled APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist Current AHPRA registration and First Aid/CPR certification Current Working with Children or Vulnerable People Check At least 5 years’ experience in high-performance sport Proven ability to manage injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programs Strong understanding of athlete load management and integrated healthcare models Experience using the Athlete Management System (AMS) platform Excellent communication and collaboration skills with coaches and performance teams Personal Attributes Passionate about athlete health and high-performance sport Collaborative and proactive with a problem-solving mindset Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing environments Professional, ethical and committed to Softball Australia’s values Skilled at building trust and strong relationships with athletes and staff Flexible with availability for camps, competitions and interstate or international travel Collaborative and proactive with a solutions-focused mindset Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing schedules Ethical, professional and respectful in all interactions Aligned with Softball Australia’s values – Unified, Respectful, Creative & Brave and Fun Why this Role Rocks This is an opportunity to make a real difference in Australian softball.
