Base pay range A$75.00/hr - A$100.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Talenza Principal Consultant - DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering Are you a skilled Systems Administrator with deep experience across both Wintel and Linux environments? We're working with a leading Australian banking institution on a critical uplift program aligned to the Essential Eight cybersecurity framework. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment. Key Responsibilities: Support and uplift core infrastructure across Wintel and Linux platforms Contribute to remediation efforts aligned to Essential Eight security controls Assist with patching, hardening, and configuration management across systems Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues in a hybrid environment Collaborate with security, network, and cloud teams on cross-functional initiatives Key Requirements: Strong experience administering Windows Server (Wintel) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) systems Proven experience in large, complex enterprise environments (ideally financial services) Solid scripting and automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) Familiarity with vulnerability remediation and hardening standards Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in production support Highly Desirable: Experience or exposure to Airlock/WAF solutions Understanding of security frameworks, particularly the Essential Eight Why Apply?
