Seeking a full-time Senior Medical Officer to join a growing Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. Parmelia is located 39km from the South of Perth, servicing areas between Rockingham and Cockburn. About the Role Deliver high-quality general practice services in a cultural setting Provide senior clinical leadership and guide a culturally secure setting Oversee clinical governance, quality improvement, and accreditation Mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary team Influence sector reform through advocacy, partnerships, and Aboriginal-led research Ideal role for a senior general practitioner ready to step into executive leadership, contribute to meaningful change, and walk alongside Aboriginal communities with cultural integrity and respect The Practice The practice is determined to deliver culturally safe, holistic primary care to Aboriginal people across Perth Metropolitan and the Wheatbelt region. At the heart of their service is the framework which positions culture, community and connection as core to healthcare delivery. The Requirements FRACGP or FACRRM Experience with delivering culturally secure primary health care - ideally in ACCHS (Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Care) Proven leadership and clinical governance capability Deep understanding of Aboriginal health, trauma-informed practice and cultural safety Strong alignment with Aboriginal-led models of care and self-determination The Package Competitive salary up to $300,000 Salary packaging $2,000 annual PD allowance Relocation support (up to $5000) Additional leave Two weeks leave for Christmas holidays Cultural leave, mentorship from elders and executive team Integrated model of care with strong social and wellbeing programs Flexible and hybrid working options considered #J-18808-Ljbffr
