What you'll be doing As our Ward Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the Vascular Ward by coordinating patient information, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining efficient administrative systems. Your attention to detail and customer-focused approach will help deliver exceptional care experiences. In this role you will: Maintain accurate patient files and records in line with policy. Enter admissions, discharges, transfers and related transactions in iPMS. Complete daily patient statistical reporting and bed verification. Coordinate X-ray returns, discharge transport bookings and essential clerical support. Manage ward stationery, mail distribution and assist with training new clerks. Selection Criteria Proven extensive clerical experience in an office support role. Demonstrate extensive receptionist/customer service skills. Demonstrated excellent clerical organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated effective communication skills - verbal and written, with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team situation. Competent computer skills in a Windows based environment and a knowledge of databases.
