d'Albora Marinas Australia's largest Marina Group, is offering an exciting opportunity to join the team as a full-time Boatyard Operator - Marina Attendant at Pacific Point Marina. The marina is located on the Northern end of the Gold Coast in the heartland of boating paradise. Facilities include 70 tonnes marine travel lift, 500 wet berths, 350 dry stack storage, and a full-service shipyard. This is your chance to join an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced marine service environment with extensive training provided to advance your skills in all aspects of yard operations and associated waterfront activities. Reporting to the Shipyard & Operations Manager, your key tasks will consist of but not limited to: Working closely with team members to achieve safe and efficient daily yard operations. Ensure timely retrieval and launch of vessels. Ensure that lifting, standing and launching works are completed safely and in line with expected time constraints. Prepare vessels for required maintenance. Perform repairs and services. Apply antifoul and other applications. Ensure maintenance of lifting equipment to ensure optimum working condition. Ensure Machinery, facility, and general maintenance. Offer excellent customer service to members and guests. The ideal person we seek would have: Australian Residency; QLD Boat licence (desired, not essential); Driver's licence; Boating knowledge; Availability to work weekends is essential; Exceptional interpersonal skills; Awareness of workplace safety, health, quality and environmental standards.
